WCAG 2.0 - Legal regulations
on 12 April 2012, a decree was issued by the Council of Ministers on the National Interoperability Framework, where the requirements to be met by a website or service adapted to the needs of people with disabilities were specified in detail. These requirements are included in the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0), whose creator, through the WAI (Web Accessibility Initiative), is the W3C organisation.
As a result of a Council of Ministers decree, all government websites should adapt their functionality to the needs of people with disabilities. Hence, most good examples can be found on government websites. It can be observed that websites adapted to the needs of people with disabilities are increasingly appearing in commercial projects unrelated to public administration.
